Enriched and Advanced UI for Live Blogs

We are excited to introduce a new enhancement to our UI and workflow, making it easier than ever for publishers to create and manage Live Blogs. A Live Blog is a real-time online publishing tool that allows content creators to provide continuous updates on specific events, topics, or news stories as they unfold, keeping audiences informed and engaged.

Note: This feature is available for publishers under Growth, Advanced, or Premium Tiers 

Get Started 

Step 1: Log in to your Dashboard.

Step 2:  Navigate to Content Creation and choose Live Blogs format

 

Step 3: Follow the usual procedure of creating the post and publishing it.

Step 4: Live Blog available under Live Running Posts

The live blog will be live after publishing the posts and will be listed under Live Running Posts in the published section as shown below

Step 5: Adding Live Updates

Now, you can start adding live updates directly by clicking Update

Note: Can Preview/Edit/Mark as complete the Live blog posts directly from the published section. Mark as complete saves the post as a normal article. You can re-edit and add new updates when required which makes the live blog active and running.

Under the tab Updates, click Create New Update

 

Provide Title and Content. Click Publish New Update

 

Once Published, below is how the updates look in the editor

 

To Pin/Edit/Delete the Live Update, go to the extended menu as shown below 

 

Also, to edit the Live Blog, go to Main Blog tab as shown below

Step 6: Advanced Properties Explained

Adv properties 

  • Access Level: Use this field to specify if the articles/posts is for logged-in users or public access.
  • Custom Date: Use this field for backdating purposes.
  • Select Schema: Choose a schema for the article.
  • Canonical URL: Provide the canonical URL for this content.
  • Meta Title: The main title displayed in search engine results.
  • OG Title: The title used when your content is shared on social media.
  • OG Description: A brief summary shown when your content is shared on social media.
  • Twitter Title: The title specifically for Twitter shares.
  • Twitter Description: A brief description for Twitter shares.
  • Meta Keywords: These keywords provide information about a web page's content to search engines.
  • Meta News Keywords: Specifically used by Google News publishers to define keywords relevant to their articles.
  • Code Injection Head: Include custom code to be injected into the head section of your web pages.
  • Custom Style Injection: Apply custom CSS styles to your posts

Assisted “Fix it” Feature:

Introducing the Assisted "Fix it" feature, designed to streamline the implementation of SEO recommendations and suggestions. This feature guides you directly to the specific module and fields where refinements are needed, saving you time and effort. Instead of searching for what and where to fix, Assisted "Fix it" takes you straight to the required sections, ensuring efficient and accurate updates.
